This awards night aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of exceptional students in Years 11-12 in the Hills District who are not only pursuing their passions but also making a positive impact in their community.
Nominations are now open, and we encourage you to nominate students from your school who exemplify leadership, dedication, and service for this prestigious awards, as they recognise the future leaders and changemakers of our community.
Each category winner will receive their award from an industry leader who will also offer mentorship to support their ongoing journey. Past winners have had access to mentors who’ve guided them in business development, communications, and leadership.

Youth Volunteer of the Year
Students who demonstrate a strong commitment to helping others, actively volunteering to make a difference.

Youth Entrepreneur of the Year
For students who have launched their own business or developed an innovative business idea ready to go.

Youth Sportsperson of the Year
For students who show dedication, achievement, and sportsmanship in individual or team sports.

Youth Journalist of the Year
For aspiring writers who’ve contributed to publications, blogs, podcasts or other media with clear, powerful communication.

Youth Performing Artist of the Year
For students who excel in the performing arts, showing creativity, talent, and passion in music, drama, dance or similar disciplines.

Young Person in STEM of the Year
This award is for students excelling in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths, and using those skills in creative or impactful ways

Youth Environment Leader of the Year
For students who are passionate about sustainability and environmental action, making a positive difference through leadership and advocacy.

For students who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, or helping others learn—and who demonstrate the values of future leaders in education.
