Castle Hill Rotary Proud Heritage
This year, our club proudly celebrates another milestone since its inauguration. Our charter was granted on 18th March 1965 with an inaugural membership of twenty-nine members. Since that day, the Castle Hill Rotary Club has had an enormously positive impact on the local community of the Hills Shire, and today our club continues to thrive with almost 50 passionate members.
Our Unique Club Badge
The tree represents an orange tree which has been synonymous in the Hills Shire since when the area was first settled. Citrus fruits of all types were the mainstay of production for the area, as well as dairy.
The Rotary Wheel symbolises the Australian Federation Star which appears on our Australian flag. The five oranges symbolises the Southern Cross Stars which appears on the Australian flag. The design is encompassed within an orange fruit, which was the main fruit produced throughout the Shire.
While our club badge is no longer in circulation, the orange tree is a significant symbol of our local heritage and connection to our past that continues to feature today.

Today Castle Hill Rotary Club is a proudly diverse group people from across the Hills District community.
We come from all walks of life.
We are community leaders, professionals, working and retired, Australians and Multinationals, young, old, female and male.
We bring a huge range of experiences and perspectives.
What brings us together today is our passion to support each other and have a positive impact on the community we live in.
