Rotary Castle Hill's Response to the NSW Flood Crisis"

In February 2022, heavy rains struck the Eastern Seaboard of Australia, causing widespread flooding and devastation. Homes and businesses were lost, and many lives were impacted. Our club wasted no time in taking action to support those affected.

Fundraising Efforts

Our club quickly organized fundraising events, including a Bunnings BBQ in Castle Hill on March 5th and a fundraiser at Castle Towers on March 12th. These events brought the community together, raising over $5,000.

Direct Assistance

The funds raised were promptly distributed to The Windsor Rotary Club, which ensured that the money reached families in need in the affected areas. This direct assistance made a significant difference during a challenging time.

Community Spirit

Castle Hill Rotary's response demonstrated the power of community spirit and service. It was a reminder that, even in the face of adversity, we can come together to support one another.

Continuing Support

Our commitment to serving our community remains unwavering. Stay tuned for updates on our ongoing initiatives, and join us in making a positive impact.
